Addis Power is one of the largest exhibitions which will be held at Millenium Hall in October 2026 in Africa’s business and trade capital on power, energy, and lighting. Ethiopia has abundant renewable energy resources and has the potential to generate over 60,000 megawatts (MW) of electric power from hydroelectric, wind, solar, and geothermal sources. As a consequence of the rapid GDP growth of Ethiopia over the previous decade, electricity demand has increased. Although Ethiopia has great potential in energy, the country is experiencing energy shortages and struggles to serve a population of over 100 million people while demands for electricity are predicted to grow by approximately 30% per year.
